The Tyndall Centre's Green Impact team has once again been recognised for its commitment to the environment. Led by Christina Birch, the PhD-led team has collected a Gold Award for sustainability at the Green Impact Awards.

The team has organised various events throughout the past year, including lunchtime walks and preventing food waste through leftover meals, and has been rewarded for its efforts.

Christina said: "It's been a really good experience and I'm glad we got this award to prove our dedication to sustainability goes beyond our research and impacts our daily lives."

The Centre's Green Impact team is looking to continue its great work moving forward - with various sustainability-based events and by encouraging sustainable behaviour - and is always looking for more people to join in with green impact and to help improve sustainability.

If you would like to get involved, please contact Christina Birch.
