Tyndall Manchester are recruiting a Research Associate to join the EnergyREV Consortium. The post runs from 01/02/2020 until 31/03/2022, and the application deadline is 7 November.
The role includes doing a survey of ‘local smart’ energy companies about their current business models, followed by workshops with some of those companies about potential innovations in their business models. The post-holder will work closely with partners at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Strathclyde, as well as partners from other work packages. The Energy Revolution (EnergyREV) Consortium, funded by the UK Research and Innovation, is a collaboration between 22 universities, including more than 60 researchers working together to tackle the challenges around smart local energy systems from an interdisciplinary and whole-systems viewpoint.
This role will analyse existing and novel business models with potential to scale up new companies in the area of smart local energy provision.
