New report published

9 May 2023

Jaise Kuriakose and Ruth Wood have published a new report on climate change adaptation indicators for the UK’s power distribution network.

A new report from the Tyndall Centre at The University of Manchester in collaboration with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and Energy Network Association proposed a range of strategies for adapting the UK’s power network to the effects of climate change. The authors of ‘Adapting the power system to a changing climate: monitoring progress’ recommended a performance monitoring and reporting system for the power network that can be used as a proxy for a measure of success in adapting to climate change.
